John Chidester has a great idea about a lovely calendar of lighthouse photos. Would you buy it for sure if you knew some of the proceeds would help on a very special preservation project? To find out what I mean, please see my posted reply on John's previous post about Calendar 2000. I would be interested in your thoughts about this or any other ideas of how to help fund the preservation project. I have also suggested elsewhere that Harbour Lights make a miniature of this memorial tower to ALL U.S. lighthouse keepers that we could buy for our collection, and donate part of the proceeds to its preservation, similar to how the GLOWS help fund restorations. This could be a striking piece, as there is an elaborate stone mansion next to the tower, that would sure make one unusual collectible.
