It's been a couple of days and no one has posted about the 'new' home page at www.HarbourLights.com

Admittedly the changes are subtle, but this group is pretty sharp-eyed.

Thanks to Paul for the new graphic banner.

I've been getting an error message on the HL's web page for the past three days when I open it using AOL.

Whoa! Joanne

Anybody else have a similar experience?

Are you going to this page?
www.HarbourLights.com/index.htm

If not, what is the URL you use?

I also have been getting an error message. It's been harder to get into these forums!
I thought something was wrong with our home computer!

When I initially clicked on the first hyperlink from John (www.harbourlights.com), I was getting an error message when trying to access through AOL.

After clicking on the second hyperlink above (www.harbourlights.com/index.htm), it worked fine and I've set this one up as my favorite link.

The one curious thing I noticed is that the link to the Collector Forums is missing. Probably most wackos and maturing newbies have the Forum's URL bookmarked and come here directly. But I suspect it will reduce the number of new newbies. Whazzup wit dat?

I believe the "slide show" panel in the upper left corner is also new. Great way to show off some of Paul's always-excellent detail shots.

I've also noticed that the "seahorses" link under "HARBOR LIGHTS" goes nowhere - but I think that that's been true since before the new home page was initiated.

The "Collector Forums" link has moved to under the "Web Site" heading. It might move to the "Collecting" heading later.

Please use that link to the home page:
www.HarbourLights.com/index.htm

I am having the same problems as everyone else has mentioned. I could not locate the collector forums through my old book marked site. I was also getting error messages. It was hard to find the forums to log on to. I finally found them by going to www.lighthousekeepers.com directly and by-passing the HL site.

Now I'm with you . . . mostly. I too had been using an old bookmarked address, which took me to the old "Frames" format, but with generally the content of the new Home Page.

One thing still - the smaller photo graphic to the right of the main one: sometimes it runs through a sequence of shots, other times it just sits on the first one. I don't know what I'm doing differently to get the two different results.

The forums page is listed clearly on the http://www.harbourlights.com/index.htm page. However, on the http://www.harbourlights.com/default.htm frame page, the link has disappeared from the main page. There is a "link to forums" under the Web site menu, but right now all it gives is an error message when you try to click on it. Need to get the forums link back up and operational on the frame page.

I was able to sign on to the forums today without an error message. Seems to be working better. Thanks John.

Today, I had problems up until now trying to get onto the forums. I keep getting some sort of "error J" even when using the link John supplied.

I also have been getting the "expect j" error when I use the "index" URL,but not when I use the "default" URL.

Glad I found this post, I was going to start a new topic about how Impossible it has been the past 3-4 days to reach the Collectors Forum!

I click on my bookmarked site, it just sits and loads and loads and finally comes up with only the heading. I then log on thru the Harbour Lights site, same problem, it just never loads. Then tried going in thru Internet Explorer, no luck there either.

I finally got the bright idea of accessing the Forums thru Lighthousekeepers.com First time in days I've been able to get here!

I hope what ever the problem, it is resolved soon as I have had no problems with other sites. Very frustrating!

Runtime error, line: 123. On the home page and several others.

Looks like its in the form validator for the state table where it checks to see if the index into the table is 0 and if so opens an alert box - or at least thats where the debugger stepped into it. Around... if (theForm.6.selectedIndex == 0)

At http://www.harbourlights.com/default_NF.htm, I see the top graphic is missing 'Harbour Lights Awarding Winning...'.

Using IE 5.5.
