The Forums are rather intensive users of the server's CPU because most pages are created dynamically each time they are requested.
The web hosting company is aware of the problem and will be moving the site to a new Silicon Graphics server that is much faster than the Intel 233 it now runs on.
I expect the changeover will take place this week.
My apologies for the response time. Please be patient a little longer.
