When will we be able to renew our Society membership from the HL website like in past years. Seems like I renewed it alot earlier last year via the website.

You should be able to renew online early next week.

I called Harbour Lights directly yesterday and got registered! Will this mean that I will get a low number on my piece this way? I think it worked like that in the past!

It helps. But isn't a guarantee.

Randy, I know that this year if you call HL to order they ask if you are on autoship. If so they are trying to match the number on the society piece for those folks. Other than that you would probably just "get in line" with others for the next available number. As John stated there's no guarantee on any numbers but it doesn't hurt to try.

You must also take into consideration there are people who renew for more than one year at a time. Do they get a lower available number than a yearly phone-in?

I believe so Bob. If you renew for 3 years you have a higher priority than if you renew for 2 and 1 year -- at least it was so in the past.

I don't really think this is true as HL can't assume that you want to purchase each piece. They don't order them for you until you ask them to, either by calling or filling out the form that comes with each year's membership package.

Oh, by the way, if you order the full size piece and do not also want the ornament be sure to specify this. Otherwise they do assume you want it. At least this happened to me last year and would have again this year except I remembered and called back to cancel it.

Just as John stated:
The three year membership always got the lower numbers for the free society gift.
Then came the second year memberships.
This Year there is now a chance of getting your autoshipment number for the society gift, no mater what year membership you have.

For the Society Exclusive it was kinda in the order that you called. Some low number spaces were left open for a while for low number replacements.
This year you should be able to get a Society Exclusive with your autoshipment number. Call and make sure.
I called about the Roanoke and found out that Mine was already ordered with my autoshipment number. I didn’t even order it and they had my order already set to go to my dealer. They sure have my number.

Daniel

OK, I will be the second one to use the online renewal! The HL webpage just gets better and better. That was so easy and I thought the extra $5 for 1rst class mail was well worth it. I want my Legacy ASAP. I'm not very good at waiting! Terry
