Have you ever wanted to see a list of all the lighthouses from Younger & Associates -- Harbour Lights, Little Lights, Anchor Bay -- from just one state? Or see a list and then view images and information of Lake Michigan lighthouses?

Give the new 'Product Search' a try-out.
http://www.harbourlights.com/search_products/search.htm

It's pretty self-explanatory, but you might want to try searching for 1991, 1992, 1993 or 1994 in the "Keyword" field. (The other years aren't working just yet.). Clear all fields and choose "Little Lights" from the product list. You'll then see a list of all the 24 new Little Lights. Click on the name of each and you'll see the fact page with a photo of the piece.

You'll have to save a link to the search page as a favorite place for now. It won't be listed on the site for a few more days.

Ideas, comments, suggestions, problems? Please post them or email me.

Seems to be working great John. Excellent job. Search engines are not the easiest things to set up, but it is working really slick. Does this one operate through the cgi function? just curious.

Is there a way in the future to build in any hidden Meta tags (or equiv) to some of the light's pages, such as: green water, blue water, mold 2, variation, lightning rod, Canadian, etc.? so if someone typed in green water it would pull up the green water pieces? I'm just curious if a list of descripters or meta tags could be added in to certain pages to allow a future expansion of hits through these types of keywords.

Yes, it's a cgi function - uses the same search program that finds the dealers.

I've added Notes on various modifications such as water color changes, but the Keywords only search a specific field in which I've entered various keywords. I'll add those modification facts to the keywords field or allow a search of the Notes field.

Looks nice, John. Could produce some interesting searches, especially when someone is concentrating acollection on a given area. You might want to add something that says you must press "clear" before you can do a new search. Using back button to return to the page and then wiping out a state and inserting a lighthouse will produce nothing found unless you have pressed the clear.
