Great shots Sean
The 36 foot lifeboat I think is one off those that rights itself up if turns over in the water. I saw a lot of those when I was in the Coast Guard. They were used at a lot at lifesaving stations on the east coast.

I always enjoy looking at your beautiful photos Sean! Just one question. Did they put that scaffolding up at Point Cabrillo just so that you could get that great shot of the lens?

Very nice Sean. What are the lighthouses that are not labeled yet?

Thanks all, Bob the photos that are not labeled underneath and are within the same frame as the other photo are just another image of the same lighthouse that is above it.

Thanks for looking!

Great photos, Sean.

How do you pronounce the name of that Life Saving Station?

Hey Sean,

Your photos are GREAT!

Missed you on the Chesapeake but thought about you often. The Coast Guard was doing some chores on Bloody Point Light when I arrived......

Chick a ma comic-o

It is a very nicely restored station. If I remember correctly, they also have a crew that re-enacts the Life Saving Service Drills on occassion.

They have their own website which has now been added along with 16 others for the US Life-Saving Service on the Internet Index of Lighthouse Links.

Sean,
You certainly did catch the lights on a beautiful day. The great blue sky and clouds really compliment the lights and make outstanding pictures. BZ

Sean,

I was going to mention your photo of Bill Guilfaes as the Keeper on watch.

I just figured I'd be accussed of bias since it's a picture of Sandy Hook

Keep taking those kind of pictures and you could give up your day job.

Oh, wait a minute you already did that.

Outstanding photos Sean! They bring back great memories of the reunion. Were they all taken on a digital camera?

Great pics Sean, the boats in the Harbor of Refuge shots makes an excellent reference point to show the size of the LH. The Mispillion pic reminds me of the infamous Bates` Motel.

Sean,

After my last post here I got to thinking. When I was at St. Augustine I don't recall seeing water that close to the lighthouse. How did you get that shot?

Mo knows how I did it. All I will say is that you have to be crafty, and "no" the photo was not manipulated in any way.
