I have an issue with my website,
Lighthouse Tours Central that I need to resolve, and could use your help on.
On my
Lake Erie tour, I have been using pictures from
Lighthouse Friends on each light's entry. However, when I emailed Kraig anderson, the site's webmaster, to confirm use of the photos (which I requested several months ago, with an OK), he replied that a new policy had been put into place, in which content of their site is not available for public use. I now need photos of the following Lake Erie lights, and would greatly appreciate any "donations."
1. Manhatten Front Range Light, Toledo, OH
2. Manhatten Rear Range Light, Toledo, OH
3. Port Clinton Light, Port Clinton, OH
4. Marblehead Light, Marblehead, OH
5. Vermilion Light, Vermilion, OH
6. Old Fairport Harbor Light, Fairport Harbor, OH
7. Erie Land Light, Erie, PA
8. Barcelona Light, Barcelona, NY
9. Dunkirk Light, Dunkirk, NY
10. Buffalo Light, Buffalo, NY
11. Buffalo Bottle Light, Buffalo, NY
I do have a few rules. I will not accept photos with names placed on the image; these are put into a caption below the photo. I also will not pay money for the photos. Third, I would prefer if there were no frames, borders, etc. on the light. Fourth, daylight shots are prefered to sunset-rise or night shots, as this makes it easier for the tourer to get a good idea of what the light looks like. And finally, no shots from a long distance-the light should fill most of the frame. Post here that you have a photo for me, and I will figure out a way to get them from you to me.
