One thing it seems impossible to pry out of Harbour Lights are the items that are in development for the future 6 or more months down the road.
I'm sure there are competitive reasons (there are other companies that make lighthouse 'models' now).
Kind of like the new car companies, they like to keep next year's model under wraps until just before introduction time to build the anticipation and the 'showroom' traffic when the new models appear.
Harbour Lights 'introduces' new lighthouses three times a year - January, April and June. At the June introduction, which coincides with the Rosemont Collectible Show, all the remaining introductions for the calendar year are introduced. So we know about any that will be at dealers through the end of 1998.
The Legacy (the printed newsletter) is sent by bulk mail and can take weeks to reach some areas of the country, but appears quickly in others. HL is looking into a second class (newspaper) permit which would move the publication more quickly through the Postal Service. That permit is more difficult to obtain than a bulk rate one.
As you'd expect, the LATEST news will appear here because it's possible to instantly distribute the news through the Internet.
