Slipped right by me, but August 11, 2000 marked the 2nd Anniversary for www.HarbourLights.com.

I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to making the site what it is. No one has done more than my friend and fellow Saint Paul L. Brady. His great photography of both product and lighthouses is outstanding!

Thanks to all the others who've allowed us to use their lighthouse photographs and those who have contributed ideas and made suggestions.

Finally, a great big thank you to the Youngers and the Harbour Lights crew who are the BEST people to work with in all my working life.

While operating the web site isn't my full time job, it is certainly a labor of love both of Harbour Lights lighthouses and of the real things.

These Forums, while independent of Harbour Lights provides great feedback to me and to the company and has helped create a genuine 'family' who share their product knowledge, life stories and travel experiences in much the same way as if we lived on the same street in the same community, overlooking a beautiful bay guarded by a spectacular lighthouse.

It is we, the collectors who thank you, St. John, for the labor of love hours you put into making the HL webpage one of the best of the internet. We have enjoyed the ride. Thanks for making it possible for collectors of all ages, from all over the world, to have a forum to meet, greet, and share of ourselves with folks who love lighthouses and lighthousing. Thanks to your efforts, we are able to "keep the flame" burning in the hearts of many.

Tim - Keeping the flame lit...

It's hard to believe that it's been over two years since we found that letter on John's old web site that he was closing down (and opening up as HL.com).
Can't argue with the fact that there is a ton of information on this site, or that Paul takes some pretty impressive pictures, or that HL is an incredible company to do business with and donates to everybody under the sun. But, the absolute best part of this website is the ability it has given us to interact with the best group of people under the sun. Everytime I have had the pleasure of attending a reunion, a signing, an event, the Rosemont show, or any other place that I meet with fellow collectors I am amazed what a great group has been gathered here. We don't always agree on everything, but HL has brought us together.
So to Harbour Lights, the Younger Family, Maureen, Harry and all the staff, all the Saints, Wackos, Newbies, and especially St. John, thank you for 2 fantastic years.

It has been over a year that I found this web site. There were many times I would come here and just read the posts but was a bit shy to register. Finally in April of this year I took the plunge. What I have found here are many great people that are dedicated to the art of collecting lighthouses, saving lighthouses and making good friends. I would like to join in with all of you before me who have written such nice things and say... I too appreciate the time, love and effort that has been put in by the SAINTS JOHN & PAUL. I also want to thank all those others that I don't know about that keep this posting as good as it is today. Also, to HL for making a selling such high quality lighthouses over the last few years. Also to The YOUNGERS & GROUP who are so giving a very HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
