I just noticed that my PBS station is airing a program today that might be of interest. It is a 4 1/2 hour documentary on the town of Belfast, Maine beginning at 11:30 am EST and running through 4 pm. Certainly there should be some lighthouses to see?

Time sensitive was a little bit of an understatement Mombo! 10 minutes heads up on a Sunday morning is a bit of a stretch. I just know that you were able to tape the whole show and will share with everyone if there was god lighthouse footage. Right???

Well I sure hope no one spent 4 1/2 hours waiting to see a lighthouse. It started out at dawn with fishing boats preparing to go out and I though, "Ah, here we go"! But then it switched to various scenes of village life. Other than a few scenes on a sardine boat and in a sardine factory I didn't see anything else "nautically related". I did however abandon the program early when my neighbor called to invite me for turkey dinner!

So my spelling is a little off. Guess I was hoping it would be a heavenly show, but sounds like it was far from it. I will open up notepad and spell the word "GOOD" 100 times.
