Has anyone seen the new Greenbook or the Collector's Value Guide? The latest I have seen is the 1998 issues. I have checked around but cant find a later edition. If anybody knows where they can be found let me know.

I have been monitoring the website for Grrenbook and also Collectors Value Guide.
At this point, neither one has indicated any
timeline for releasing a new Harbour Lights
guide.

A 'Usually Reliable Source' indicates that Checkerbee, which purchased Collectors Value Guides is planning on a 2000 edition but that it is doubtful that a revised Green book will come out in 2000.

I got a reply from Checkerbee today. They are planning a new guide in 2000. They are not planning to produce a pocket guide.

Thanks Randall for getting that info, I too have been watching and waiting for a new revised Greenbook on Harbour Lights. The latest I have is, like someone else said here, the one that I purchased at the last reunion. It will be interesting to see the suggested market values of my collection. I am looking forward to the next reunion...maybe I will wait and get my next Greenbook there again

Just got a response from Greenbook. They hope to have a new guide and update for their HL
collector software out mid-year. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks Randy for the info on price guide for HL. I was in a Walden Book store last night and they checked there computer and told me that a new 2000 Collector's Value Guide for HL will be out in May 2000 selling for $13.95. The item number will be ISBN:1888914823 what ever that means. So I guess we will have to wait and see.

To Hal - just for you information, the ISBN (International Standard Book Number)is the number assigned to all books published. I believe it indicates the publisher, subject matter, and other information. Think of it as a product bar code for books.

In the early part of 2000 the green book was advertised on thier sit but was pulled and I sent an Email to ask about it. the answer I rec'd was no more HL green book planned for the near future.Bill O'Brien

The company that published the Green Books is out of business.
