I have seen, for the past 24 hours or so, a forum under the "Forums" section of the main forum page called "Debugging Forum". (Wow, used the word "forum" a lot there.) It says "testing private forums 1, 2, 3", and I can't get into it. There are new topics/posts every time I check (a lot).

I'm just kind of curious as to what this is. Can everyone else see it, or can I because I'm a Cruise Director? I know that there are some special things I can only see or do here. Is this one of them? Are we creating a special administration forum or something?

The Forum software has the ability to create separate 'private forums' which could be restricted by a password or by identifying specific CF members access by their log-in name.

I'm testing this out with a few CF members. In the future it might be something that could be made available to a group such as the OBLS, the new Washington Lightkeepers Association or other club to have their own forum accessible to their members only.

Those not on the list for this one should be able to see the NAME of the forum, but not be able to access it. If that's the case, then it's working as intended.

Yep, I can see the name, and the time and date of the last post, and how many posts/threads there are, but nothing else.

Are there going to be forums for Saints, CDs, etc?
