Note: the ability to see different text colors is dependent on your video card, the amount of its memory, and the number of colors you choose to use.

Caveat: be careful when fiddling with styles and the background color cuz you can easily spork up the entire page. For example, you don't want to associate a style with the 'FONT' tag because it is used throughout the page.
