OK I see how to upload pictures but is there some special place or way to do avtars? Maybe I overlooked it?

Cindy, you need to have achieved official 'wacko' status - 50 posts - to have an avatar. Once you have achieved that level (just 45 more posts), you may either choose from the stock avatar selection or create your own at a 75 x 75 pixel size.

Okay...so now that I am at 50 posts...who knows how to create an avatar? What about an animated one with a blinking beacon?

Bob, none set in your profile. When you update profile to include avatar, be sure to not only click on the "use this avatar" option on the avatar page, but also click on update at the bottom of the profile page. Also, avatars are limited to like 75x75 pixels if memory serves me.

You got it, Bob. It's a bit pixelated. Start with an image and crop it to 75x75 pixels.
What program did you use?
