So, how do I find out where I am on the list. I never kept track of how many postings i have submitted, however, i did recieve one EMAIL from MOMBO, suggesting I change the way I wrote my postings. Its nice to know someone cares..

Jim, just click on the sunglasses at the top of any of your postings. That will tell you how many posts you've made so far, among other things.

Someone emailed me wanting a list of WACKOs for the Morris Island solicitation. I accidently deleted the email before responding. However, I can view the list, but that list doesn't include the emails. I can't export the list with or without emails.

So sorry no-can-do.

Thankyou for the guidance. If you knew how many times i have looked at that profile sheet, you would know just how stupid I feel.
Thanks again.

Makes me wonder how many "no shows" just signed up for the contest.

Joanne,

A whole bunch. How many of the names on the winners list did you recognize as posters? Seems we have a whole bunch of lurkers who need to make that first post !

Whoops, just a second...

The contest involved registering at HarbourLights.com, not for these independently provided Collector Forums.

The only benefit one can expect for registering for these forums is getting questions answered, learning stuff you never knew about Harbour Lights, sharing your new-found knowledge with others, getting inside news that makes you a more savvy collector, becoming part of an on-line family who share life's happy moments and the scary ones too.

And it's all free.

Well, you do have to spend some psychic scheckles to get up the nerve to actually register and THEN to make that first post. Kind of like those etrade.com commercials where the new trader hestitates and hesitates before pushing the mouse button to complete the first trade.

Good points, John. A lot of people take it for granted that this Collector's Forum is provided by Harbour Lights. For the newcomers, it isn't. The Collector's Forum is brought to you by our friends at www.lighthousekeepers.com, and for that I'm thankful!

Yes, I realize they are seperate entities (and a big thanks to lighthousekeepers.com for their generosity). I still have a hard time fathoming how someone could visit HL-dot-com and not explore the site. Maybe I'm just more curious. Once you come across the forums how could you not keep coming back? Eventually something just has to either spin you up enough or get you fired up enough that you just have to post.

Hey, I spent several months as a lurker before I decided to jump in and post. Its been all downhill since then........

You did the right thing, Dave. The Collector's Forum is fun, free, and extremely informative. You even get a few heated but friendly exchanges with a little humor thrown in for good measure. How can you beat that!

Thanks John for the info; it was me who ask for the list of WACKOS; I seem to be off a few from your numbers and just wanted to compare lists; haven't been on computer much lately so this reply isn't very timely. Darlene

Thanks for the head count, John.
I sure wish that all these Wackos and soon to be Wackos would vote for their top ten Harbour Lights on the General Forum.
Only two weeks left.

I'm confused about the registration part. I know that this forum is independent of HL's, but I'm not sure where the registration was for the contest. I guess I just assumed it was this registration. Is there a separate registration for the website?

Joanne

Ok - now I understand - I just looked at the website and there is a registration on there as well as on here.
