Brilliant idea, but ...

I don't speak Spanish so I can't check this one, but I just did a similar thing with our website from English to German. And the translation is not all that brilliant.

But ... fantastic start. Might use it as a base to translate our website into German.

The technology is something today. It really is amazing. You probably would grab the attention of some Spanish-speaking lighthouse lovers in south Florida or Texas. My concern would be the same as if I just used spell check without a real person following up with it. I would think we would get some mistranslations from this software without a human eye to double check it. But what the hay, I think the English transler that is being used now mistranslate what I am really trying to say.

I would like to hear from someone that speaks Spanish and get their oppinion.

Yes John, I did use Google Translate. And for an automated process, it is astonishing.

But as I said before... the translation of our website texts was not in any sense good enough. There were parts of sentences missing. The grammar left much to be desired etc.

At least this is true the English to German translation I used, translating our website.

But they give you a chance to correct sentences and maybe if enough people do enough correction, it will improve in time!
