Over the weekend, I'm going to reorganize the order of the forums. And adding ones on:

Caring For Your Collection - displaying, maintenance, etc.

My Favorite Harbour Lights - discussions on the golden oldies and the latest and greatest.

Any more ideas for separate forums you'd like to see? Should any of the current names be changed to be more or less inclusive?

The Secondary Market for discussion of pricing, trends, general market analysis. A place for someone to ask 'how much should I pay for Ft. Niagra', etc.

The Junk Drawer a place to yap about stuff that doesn't seem to fit in a defined category.

Facts and Stats A forum for the various 'counting and sorting' posts. 'How many green water variations were made in 1994', etc.

The Welcome Wagon where you can have a virtual cup of coffee and cluck with your friends. A place for newbies to say 'hi' and folks can say a little about themselves.

The Map Room ask about visiting lighthouses, share a travelogue of your trip with others.

The Lens Room where folks can post pictures. (And if you wanna be way kewl - buy some space on your server and let us upload 'em!)

There seems to be some overlapping or redundancy with Harbor Lights General Forum, Forum About This Forum, and Forum About HarbourLights.com. Maybe these three could be combined into one or two, depending on what you do with some of the "new" forum suggestions this thread is generating. I like several of the suggestions, especially The Secondary Market. Also, your earlier piece, "Trends" on Lighthousekeepers.com helped me to get started in an organized way, and may be a good forum for both newbies and veterans who are trying to navigate the ever-broadening seas of HL collecting.

I'm inclined NOT to include the Forum on this Forum and the Forum on www.HarbourLights.com in with the General Forum. The F on F provides instructions on how to use the forums and the Forum on HL-Dot-Com provides feedback and information on the official site. (Remember the Forums are operated independently by Lighthouse Keepers.)

I think you can expect to see most of the one's Tim suggested.
