OK, I've got a photo in dotPhoto, also in Club Photo - now how the heck can I get it into the forums? Tried cutting and pasting but it doesn't work. And these sites don't seem to want to tell you how to do it.

YOu need to navigate to your picture at one of those sites, get the the heart of the picture - not some album with the picture on it.

Once you know the URL of the image, then you can call the image from the forums by prefixing the full URL (include http://) with [IMG} and ending it with [/IMG]

I've tried to copy and paste the url from properties but it won't work. When I get to the forums and hit Edit I can't select paste. Control V doesn't work either? Want to try John?

When I clicked on the link, I got a message saying that "You do not have permission to access this album" - Is the picture in a album that is passworded or locked? you may have to move it to a different album. The old Photopoint inbox albums were locked too, you had to move them into another album before you could link to them.

Works for me Mark - no password. According to instructions if none anyone can view. These site seem to be just wanting to sell you stuff.

The only way I could get the url in was to type it all, yeah right. What a pain. Maybe it was the subject?
