I saw it too...and like it! The pictures look so much better bigger.

I hope we can keep them this way...I'd gladly redesign mine! laugh

I was just toolin' around in the Collector Forums Control Panels trying to install the new HAL2005 model when I wondered if I could make the Avatars bigger. (I got to thinking about that when someone wanted to post their own photo as an avatar.)

It appears I could make them any size I wanted, me being a Saint and all (Saint=Administrator)

So I made them 75x75 instead of 48x48 pixels.

If yours appears pixelated, and you created your own, you might want to make a new one 75x75 @ 72dpi.

I wondered how long it would take before anyone noticed. I was guessing several days. Instead it looks like it took several minutes.

Can't put anything over on our sharp-eyed CF Members!

John,

I noticed also. But not because of the size. They appeared blurry to me. Didn't know what to call it. Guess you used the correct word -- pixelated.

Now you have to teach us how to make our own avatars. Something else for the Reunion seminar?

Great minds think alike! I noticed the pixelation and thought it was an adjustment on my monitor. They I tried another computer and monitor and the avatars were still pixelated. Now the mystery has been solved.

I guess Chipper is going to need to pose for a new pic.

Bob,

Do you still have the old picture or scan file before you sized it for the Forums?

If you do all you have to do is go in and resize it to the new avatar size and upload it to the forums.

All fixed, with a new photo of Sea Girt from December. That old one was getting tired, I've used it forever. This one is also a better photo for a small size.

Nice one, Jim! I like it!

I'm doing better than usual with changed avatars. Usually, it takes me a week to mentally change the avatar-member pairs.
