Thanks for the help! I used the html method recommended by ORV and got it on the first try. Luckily I had a website that I really didn't know what to do with, until now!

Just keep in mind Digger that copyrighted materials cannot be appropriated for personal use on the internet.

In general, it's OK to provide a LINK to a page or picture that has an approved use of an image, but it's NOT OK to call the image file into some other page or message.

'Call the image' means to make the image appear in your text by calling it from another site not your own.

Paul, Art and others often will provide a LINK to another web site because that web site has a page or a picture of a certain lighthouse.

When Paul includes a photo rather than a link, it's because he shot the picture and has put it on the Internet and has the right therefore to use the picture.

Thanks very much for this info. I will be very careful! I notice that clipart that comes with drawing programs such as CorelDraw can be used for personal and business purposes (advertizing, etc.). Does this mean that by buying their program, you can use their clipart without violating copyright laws? Any artwork or photos that I post will be directly related to the topic.

When I'm not Diggin', I am a Wildlife and Landscape artist with paintings in 23 states and 3 foreign countries. I thought it would be nice to share some of them with everyone when related to a topic. That was the main reason that I wanted to learn how to post images. I will make sure that any artwork or photos that I post will be mine.

Now. Do you do your diggin' in the night so you can do the paintin' in the daylight? Sure we'd all love to see the art you do.
