Is there a "winter lighthouse" picture for December?
Snow is piling up locally, and first day of winter doesn't arrive for 3 weeks!!!

Hey, Bright Eyes, I used to bug Jen to post snow pictures for us. I remember she trudged to Little Sable to get pictures one year. She would laughingly grumble because I was always asking for snow pictures. The lowest our temps have been is near 40 and we have had a lot of rain - again!

Sorry for the delay in changing photos and announcing the monthly winner for November. I'll do both those this evening and try to get HL to get caught up on shipping the prizes for winners in the last two months.

I'd love to see Jen's Winter pictures, but as the CF pic I would prefer a "sunshine one" to cheer me up .
Winter here is grey, windy, wet and dreary. So a bit of sunshine when I log in here would be just the ticket!

I guess I shouldn't complain, but a change in seasons once in a while would be welcome. It's been cool at night, with temps in the 70's during the day, lots of rain, lots of sunshine. It's dropping to the 30's tonight but going back up to the 70's later in the week. Expect the unexpected - varies from day to day. I guess gray, dreary days without end would be pretty depressing.

For those wishing they were now in "Sunny Southern California," Margret's photo of Point Vicente will warm the cockles of your heart.
