So much going on, I didn't realize until too late that I ran of of past winners and didn't have time to run a request.
So I picked one of my photos - Hendrick's Head ME taken in January 2006. Hope you enjoy it.
It's still summer so still time to submit appropriate photos of lighthouses that fit the horizontal format of the banner. You email 'em, I'll crop them. If I get too many good choices, I'll run a poll and we can select the best of the best.

Isn't it still July for you, John? :p
Gotta get a photo together for the banner...I always forget.
Nice pic, BTW! And the new colour scheme reminds me of wearing a worn-in pair of blue jeans beside the sea while munching on blueberries.
I think I need some sleep.

That's a great view of Hendrick's Head, John. Nice composition and lighting. You were in the right place at the right time. Bob

Just noticed (it's only 9/13) that the August banner (Hendrick's Head) is still up.
I take it we're not going to have a new September banner this late in the month.

Is it September already? I'm hauling the boat today. We just won't be using it again this year. Things are just too darn busy! Back to the subject at hand, I don't know if JC or Dave are as busy as me, but it doesn't seem like there are enough hours in the day to accomplish everything I need to get done. Where do the days, weeks, and years go? I like the Hendricks banner and it deserves an extra month on display. Maybe if the powers-to-be get a chance we can look for a new banner for October. That's what I'm thinking. Dave? JC? Bueller?...Bueller? Bob

Sorry, I have nothing to do with the layout of the Forums such as the banners. I know that John has been busy. If he does put up another banner, I would leave it up thru October.
Bob, you realize that as soon as you haul the boat we will have one of the nicest falls on record......

I'm doing it for you, Dave! You deserve a couple of nice fall months! Boat is home now. I just got done powerwashing the bottom. We looked at a 37' Wellcraft for sale this morning. Lorna feels the boys (Cosmo & Jesse) need air-conditioning and our current boat doesn't have it. We may be moving up for next year! Bob

Life has been a roller coaster for the past 6 weeks. I haven't had much time to pass through the turnstile here at the Collector Forums.
I apologize for that. Someday the story will be told, but not yet.
The picture was held over because I didn't have the time or the computer to work on a different one. If someone wants to solicit select and create a poll on photos again, please go right ahead. I'll use whatever ones are selected for the future months.
Life is on the "up" curve after a long swift drop. Keep the light blinking and I'll find my way back here more often.
Say your prayers.
Best to all.
P.S. Thanks to Dave and our regulars for keeping things moving.
