It's easy to avoid visiting the 'home page' of the Collector Forums - especally if you've marked "Today's Active Topics" as a favorite.
In fact less than one-third of the visitors view this 'home page'. To get there you click on the Collector Forums photo in the upper left of these pages to get to the list of ALL the various Forums available and down at the bottom of that page, you've see information on how many visitors there have been to the Collector Forums:

In the past the forum software only allowed us to display the count of visitors in the last 999 minutes -- 16 and 2/3 hours. With the recent update of our software they now allow a larger number of minutes and I set it to show the number of visitors in the past 24 hours (1,440 minutes).
That's probably a more valuable statistic. So as of a few minutes ago, the number of visitors in the past 24 hours on this site was 683 including 53 who were logged in as members and 630 who were not. Some of these 630 may be members, my guess is most are not.
The number of members posting each month is in the range of 50-80.
Have we exhausted all the topics of conversation aout Harbour Lights and lighthouses?
What would cause 630 people to cruise through here on a typical day without making a show (post) of their own interest?
While in other threads there are discussions on how Harbour Lights can 'collect' more 'collectors', perhaps we can discuss ideas here on how to revitalize these Collector Forums.
