Well, Harbour Lights needs your help and for the next 6 weeks, they'll be giving away a limited edition Harbour Lights. All you've got to do is re-register at www.HarbourLights.com (click on the 'Blame it on Bill' link upper left).

Then on April 1, Bill is going to give up one of his single digit limited edition pieces to one lucky registrant.

I'm not eligible (damn!) but you all are -- whehter or not you are a member of the Collectors Society. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY.

The earlier you register, the more drawings you'll be in.

If anyone has any problems with the form, please let me know ASAP.

COULD I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION, PLEASE!

It is of the utmost importance that everyone registered here at the Collector's Forum fills out the registration form for the "Blame it on Bill" giveaway. Now is a chance to show Harbour Lights just how many people frequent the Collector Forums and use this as a major source of information about HL collecting.

Don't hestitate! Do it now!

To even make this comment even better. This may be a good place to state how much we like to see the forum associated with the Harbour Light Website again. On the forum we are all lighthouse and Harbour Light lovers and would hope to have a chance to share this with new collectors.

Is this like register and win, or do you not need to buy anything? I'll do anything to try and get a single digit!

I just sent out the link to the Hoosier Lighthousing Club membership..

I am going to send a follow-up email to remind them to mention the Collector Forums is the way they first learned about it!!

P.S. I have a #9 AB Kim (one of 13 known regular edition Kim's) ship that some how got away from the home office, I handed it to Kim to sign with my thumb over the number just in case she wouldn't give it back.. It is my lowest number and only single digit! My lowest double digit is a #11 New Point Loma and my house is alarmed!!

Thanks for the info John. I am now re-registered. I sure would love to have a single-digit piece! The lowest numbered light I have is 130 (Boon Island), but I do have 6 LE APs (Ft Jefferson, Pt Iroquois, Dry Tortuga, Half Moon Reef, Pharos, & Colossus) and 3 GLOW APs (New London, Sanibel, & West Quoddy.

Do we know what lights are for grabs? If I were to win, I would think about getting it signed by one or more of the Younger family and doing a special Wacko auction where you would email me your bids. All of the profits would go to lighthouse preservation.

On the form, there is a field for "Suffix" that would be what comes AFTER your name like "Jr." or "Sr." or "III", etc.

I put that in there for Frank Carbone "Jr". But I imagine there are a few others out there too.

Great News!

Harbour Lights is able to recover all the Collectors Society membership information in their computer crash of last week.

For that reason, we're redirecting the contest -- it will continue as announced -- but now "Bill's Off The Hook". The registration form and link to it are temporarily down but should be available again this evening or tomorrow morning at the latest.

Whew!

Not quite there... If you win one week, you are OUT of the subsequent drawings, but if you lose, you're in it till the end or until you win.

Register just once. But the earlier you register, the more drawings you'll be in. Once you win, your name will not be selected again. If you don't win, your name will remain in the pool until the end of the contest. We'll post the names of our weekly winners on our web site. Winners will be chosen at random.
The above is from the rules page at HarbourLights.com...

Once you win, your name will not be selected again.

I'll have to go back and read that. But here's my special side deal. You win one, give it to me and I'll put your name back in the drawing. OK?

This will certainly generate a lot of interest. A chance to win a single-digit HL is a dream to many avid collectors.

On the other hand, many people don't play the "numbers game". I say the lower the flag# the better. The fact that this piece is also from Bill's private stash, makes it even more interesting.

Another point of interest in this contest will be the number of people that register compared to how many of them are CF members.

Time will tell, ladies and gentlemen.

Wasn't the first drawing last night? I haven't received an email yet so it's probably safe to say I didn't win. So who was the lucky winner?
