Thank you on behalf of the Southeast Lighthouse Foundation for your very generous donation of $1,300.00 forwarded to the Foundation in November of 2001 by Kim Andrews after your recent Harbour Lights Reunion. Your unexpected but much appreciated donation will help us very much.

As you may know from seeing Paul Brady at your Reunion, we are beginning to move forward with renovations to the Southeast Light, having been awarded a $475,000 Federal transportation grant and ad additional "Save America's Treasures" grant of $300,000. We are currently meeting with our restoration architect firm and plans are underway for replacement of the original slate roof, restoration of the Lighthouse's fifty-three windows and heat, electric and plumbing in the building. This to keep it watertight and climate-controlled while we raise an additional $300,000, to complete restoration of the Light.
