For CF Members. It's very simple to create a link to another thread on the Forums.

1. Go to the thread to which you want to send people.
2. Copy the URL of that thread. You can do that by dragging across the complete URL of the thread and hitting CTRL-C or choosing "Copy" from the "Edit" Menu
3. Start the new thread in the correct forum.

You have two ways to create a link.

1. Just paste the link to the old thread - CTRL-V and write your comments. The thread will appear with the full URL.

2. To create a link with minimal words instead of the URL:

A. type "[url=" (no quotes)
B. Paste the link you copied after the equal sign
C. type a single right bracket "]"
C. Type the words you want to appear as the link
D. Close with the "[/url]" (no quotes)

Remember no spaces between the brackets and the URL.

Here's an example of the second type (above) just for Grace.

Type Here to see Grace\'s request

To see what the link really looks like, click on the EDIT icon immedeately above this message.

Note that the end of the link is "p=1#000006". This means go to the 6th post in this thread. To jump to the first post, change the last number in the URL to 1 -- or delete the whole "p=1#000006"
