Greg, great work at Marshall Point. It looks like a nice sunny day with no rain.

I loved it when Greg first shared it with us in his blog about his trip to Maine and East Quoddy and I love it now, it will be great seeing it every time I go to the forums. Speaking of Greg's blog about his trip, if you haven't seen it yet, you must!

Greg\'s Blog about his Maine trip..

Thanks for sharing Greg!

Man every time that photo comes up it strikes me as being one of the best lighthouse photos I've ever seen! Stunning, just stunning.

Sure, right time; right place. But a lot of talent and a good eye, too.

I've made it into my desktop background.

Over on Facebook, I suggested you might have enough photos and information to write a coffee table book on lighthouses. THIS IS THE COVER!

And I already know you know a publisher or two.

Well, John, I am quite honoured! Though I want to know...how do you keep your desktop so CLEAN?

Here's my desktop:

I've actually begun putting thought into a book. Maybe another year or so to assemble a few more photos...a bit more diverse regional cross-section. But it's definitely been bouncing around my head.

Move all those icons on the desktop to the tray.

Sorry, Greg, as much as I love your image at Marshall Point, I love my Grand-Daughters more!!

The Brady 2008 Christmas Card Image..

On a Mac they call what John was referring to as tray, a Dock. When you run your cursor over the icons it magnifies them so you can have a bunch and keep them small and just use your cursor when you need to select one. You can even have the Dock hidden on either side or top or bottom and only appear when you place your cursor all the way to the edge, making for the ultimate clean desktop! I have my cursor on the Firefox icon in this image..

Yes, I have to admit that does beat a LH pic! Those Macs do have some advantages over PCs.

Mac's are a toy.

PC's are a tool !!!

Just my opinion, Paul. I fully respect Mac's and those that like them. I think they help keep company's like Dell, Gateway, Microsoft, etc., on there toes.

I know a lot about the differnces between both Mac's and PC's, I was the Manager of International Software Development for MicroWarehouse, which was the best know for all those MacWarehouse catalogs.

I'm going to edited my post from the other day.
