Best laid plans... We've been so busy here at the Reunion, it's been hard to find time to put up news. Sorry about that.

Friday night's program ran to 10 pm - so much for a 9 pm chat.

Registration lasted all day from 8 am - and the attendee list looks like it will top out at about 700 maybe 725. No official word yet.

The Rose Island miniatures were handed out when you registered - and very nice they were. The full size ones did not make it in time. A sample of the Society version is on display - but we wouldn't know if it was the Society or the Reunion attendee version, but there will be differences. Kim says 5 differences (per JTimA). "Minor Differences" - so we'll have to await the inspection crew and their magnifying glasses.

The first thumbnail was available before the dinner was served - Rose Island. So, now there are four. Tim says "REXA" "REXM" "Mini"
and "Thumbnail".

Jackets went big. (Mostly XXX) Black Suede with the big new HL logo on the back. (Last year it was HLA - Harbour Lights Anonymous, this year it's HLs Angels. ) (They are groaning as I type that.)

Entertainment for tonight was BETTER than the play last year. Started off with a special report by a member of the committee selecting the site for the US Lighthouse Center and Museum -- but later revealed his true comedic identity when he said HE thought they should have placed the museum in Kansas.

He was born in a lighthouse he told us (He found that out from his psychotherapist.)

The closing act was A fife and drum corps and shanty singing costumed group - The Ancient Mariners of Connecticut.

The Glouster Horn Pipe Society played before the dinner.

Breakfast comes at 6 AM - we were reminded several times - since we have to board the bus for the boat or for the land tour by 7:15 AM (4:15 pacific time).

Table prizes were selected by drawing with Gay Head, LS Huron, New London Ledge GLOW, Spyglass New England Set, and Beavertail being awarded for each table of 12.

An 'Opportunity Drawing' will be held Sunday with some top items including an ORIGINAL Hatteras, Coquille River and more. (Bill slipped in that this will be the 'Limited Coquille' NOT the open one. (Big hint.)

More tomorrow late - since the program will run all day and dinner will probably be over about 11 pm ET.
