With pluck, luck, and bucks we survived the daughters wedding so we're *almost* ready to leave. Plan to head out tommorrow morning and (once past Chicago) drive east til we hit water.

Safe journey and Godspeed to our fellow reunion travelers. Rhode Island here we come!

Congrats Tim to you and yours. We'll expect a full report on the wedding from the "Father of the Bride" when we see you in Providence.

We thought that was a characteristic of ours alone. LOL - We have to keep them put away until just the last minute or Squeeker will follow you around like a... well like a poor lost kitten.

See you soon.

Wow! I thought only our cats did that TOO! When our Cape house was our cottage, the cats that wanted to go to the Cape for the weekend would "volunteer" by standing on top of the suitcases.

See you all in a few days!!!!!!!!

Our dog does stuff like that, too. We're not leaving 'til Wednesday PM but he KNOWS; he can tell.

Look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

The worried look on the cats may or may not be real, my cats were also overly affectionate also for the past few days. As I was straightening up the basement prior to leaving I discovered 2 cases of beer and another Case of various liquors a box of party favors and an invitation list of neighborhood animals -- cats, dogs a couple of Parrots and I noticed a few local troublemakers on the list too the Pitbull, the 8 foot Python from the next street, the Mongoose and a Tarantula. I now am having the ex Marine drill Sergeant's Doberman Pincer from down the street stay here to keep an eye on the situation while we are gone. As I explained to the cats - "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye or is swallowed by a snake"

Our plane leaves Chicago Midway at 8:30 AM Friday and we get into Providence at 11:25. Not sure what we're going to do until check in time at 4:00.

Our cat doesn't seem to care one way or the other as long as there's someone there to give her treats. Our two teenaged boys on the other hand ...

We are packing our suitcases in a spare bedroom. Our cats don't suspect a thing. I'm sure they will take alot of notice when we get their carriers out tonight to take them to be boarded at the Vet's while we are away!! I'm sure we can lure them closer by shaking the vitamin bottle! Hope that works again this time!!!

ROTFLMAO Mark - I can picture all the animals now around the poker table, smokin' and swizzlin'

Registration starts at 8 am and runs to 8 pm on Friday - they opened a pre-registration Thurs evening and lots of people were in line when our tour buses returned from Cape Cod about 10:15 pm.

More coming soon.

John
