The Eastern Great Lakes HL Collectors Club will have our spring meeting on Sunday May 22.
We will begin at Sis Merrell's camp in Verona Beach NY on Oneida Lake at about 12 noon.
From there we will carpool to the Verona Beach LH where we will hear about the efforts of the Verona Beach LH Preservation Association's efforts at preserving the light.

Our club met at the cool and damp lighthouse today to visit and explore. Jake Hewitt and Doug Pratt told us about the work of The Verona Beach Lighthouse Association in restoring these 3 matching lights on Oneida Lake.

JJ has learned that if you are the first one to suggest a group picture that you get to take the picture (and, of course, don't have to be in the picture....)

Thanks for sharing. This is an interesting looking light. Even though it has never had a lantern room, I think the addition of one would really make for a great looking tower.

JJ could always turn the camera on himself or set delayed action (or whatever it's called) or grab another tourist to do the photo taking.

But the photo is good -- even without you, JJ.

Thanks for the pictures! It was a blustry day but was nice to see this local light and hear of the repair and resoration being done.
I think all my computer problems and viruses are taken care of and I'll be getting something out to the club very soon!
