Good Tuesday Morning!

I have developed a 2008 "Goodie Pack" for the Collectors' Clubs.

Interested Clubs may call Patti Sampson 800.365.1219 and make your request.

As a reminder there is a $50.00 service charge for shipping and handling.

Thank you Tony. NELL was the benefactor of many of these from Harbour Lights in past years and we always recieved more than our money worth. Thanks for keeping the tradition alive.

The Colorado Lighthouse Collector's Society thanks you too, Tony. The goodies are very generous and sure worth the shipping and handling charge.

Margret,

Here's a thought -- why not attempt to start one in the UK? You might find other light enthusiasts in your area.

Plus, it could induce Tony to find a dealer somewhere in your vicinity. No pain -- no gain.

On the whole not a bad idea Bob, but I have a feeling it may be impossible to find enough like minded HL Collectors in this country.
And also, the English don't seem to appreciate lighthouses in the same engaged way other countries do.
If you look at the many beautiful lighthouses we have here, there should be MANY clubs and groups of friends to help support them. But there are not that many.
And the other problem is, HL has not made many UK lights and therefore the interest here may not be so high.
I LOVE HLs even if they are not English lights, but to make it take off and popular here, HL would need to make some more "local lights" for UK and they would need to market them more over here.
But that is maybe not good business for HL right now. There are enough changes happening!

Still ... one can dream ...

I am also pleased that Harbour Lights is continuing this generous tradition. NELL has used these 'goodies' to raise much needed funds for our lighthouses. Thanks to Tony, Don and all at Harbour Lights.

I can't believe no one has asked this question by now.

What are the Goodies?

The goodies are usually an assortment of HL products for use by the clubs. In some cases, the clubs may raffle them off to members to raise funds for their projects. In some cases they might be used as prizes for the club's gatherings.

While you have seen individuals post they have received the packages, they are the club's contact person for HL. The packages are for that club, not for the individual.

This is a very generous gift from HL to their collector clubs, and the value always is way past what is charged for shipping. Thanks HL!

If you think about it, HL also sends out a goodie pack out to the forum. The goodies would be a chance for one participating member to win an L.E. once a month.

It is very generous and nice of HL to make us the collectors feel special. It is not something they have to do.
