From Tony Contstantino, Director of Sales & Markeitng:

Harbour Lights is on the move!

I have just returned from the Atlanta Gift Show and I am pleased to report that Harbour Lights Dealers are excited! Many Dealers reporting Christmas sales of Harbour Lights was the best in more than three years! Several Dealers reported a complete sell out!

When reviewing the Winter 2007 introductions, Dealers were pleased to see Harbour Lights followed through on the commitment to lower the edition size.

HL 695 First Order Fresnel Lens Saint Augustine FL is a HIT with Dealers!
Also Grand Island East Channel, MI and Isle of Shoals were on every order!

The Harbour Lights Collectors’ Guide is quickly becoming a “best seller”, Dealers report sales are brisk many on second and third orders!

Here is the most exciting news!

The first four days of the show, Harbour Lights opened ELEVEN new Dealers! Several asked for Harbour Lights by name!

I’m off to Chicago and then New York!

I wonder...

How much did the sales and pre-sales of the matching Mackinaws play in the dealer's Christmas sales? Collector's World on the Cape said they sold out of both the white and red hull before the shipment arrived, and were of course expecting a new shipment of the red hull. I'm betting this was typical at most HL dealers in December.

This is terrific news! Maybe the collectibles bug will begin to spread again and those of us without dealers will again be able to visit a local store. For now, it's just good to know that HL sales (including those of the guide) are doing so well. cheers

Glad to hear it! And to think I may have contributed to it being a new collector myself this year!

Long live Harbour Lights!

It doesn't stop there, Paul. I heard a rumor about a possible Nobel "HL Piece" prize. Then comes the movie after the book deal. You may have to retire to have enough time to handle all this stuff. (LOL)

There is something more famous than Paul.
It is his Lighthouse collection. Individual pictures of his collection are shown on 5,000 issues. (A few pieces of mine are on it too.) The biggest fame to Pauls Lighthouse pictures is on ebay were the ebayers are constantly using his pictures to sell their Harbour Lights. groupwave

And infringing on his copyright! Bob, you are going to give Paul and JC really inflated egos! They do deserve more accolades than they've gotten to date, though - not from the CF's; we know how to appreciate a good thing! applaud I'll bet they'd settle for a place on the New York Times best seller list, though! laugh
