Hoosier Lighthousing Club Meeting - it's a sign that Winter is almost over and Spring is on the way...
When: Saturday March 8, 2008
Where: MCL Cafeteria at Castleton Corner* 5520 Castleton Corner Lane Indianapolis, IN (317-845-5717)
Time: 1:00 PM EST
What: Planning session for our upcoming year and our Spring gathering at the Old Michigan City lighthouse. There will, of course, be door prizes…. plus great fun and camaraderie! There will be swap and sell tables… bring no more than 4 lighthouses per person (8 per couple).
This a good way to start 2008 on the right note! I hope to see everybody there!!

my son who works in Cincinnati says he has 8 inches of snow and expects maybe 4 more inches of snow. Now that doesn't sound like the begining of Spring. Bob

The highlight of the club meeting today was the preview the Brady Lighthouse quilt that Sue won.. We chose to have Kat do a King size and make up the difference in price to the queen size that she won plus we added a few extra lighthouses.. It is wonderful!!! Once it is completed I will post more images including close-ups, of course.. Dani is helping Kat hold it up and Larry is standing on a chair holding up the center from behind.. This second image shows how much that is still on the floor that I didn't get in the first image.. Sue and I plan on getting a new bed for it to be on once it is done. We already have a rack for it to be on when we are in bed..

Great looking quilt Bradys! Some of the lighthouses look familar. LOL I was lucky enough to have Kat custom build a quilt for MaryAnn 2 Christmas's ago. It is quite an heirloom piece. Bob
