Ok the new club here will become a reality. I am getting ready to send out flyers to the local dealers announcing the club with contact information. I had one dealer ask if we had a sponsor yet. What is a sponsor, what do they do and do we need one? I have had one dealer offer to supply goodies and door prizes on occasion for our meetings. Is that a sponsor and what they are for? I don't want any of the dealers or the members to think we are going to favor one dealer over another. Should we charge dues? We already have a project to help get us started and bring everyone together. The Matagorda Lighthouse was vandalized a while back and the restoration project needs money to repair the damage. That means a fundraiser of some type. Besides a raffle anyone have some ideas?
