At the beginning of June New England Lighthouse Lovers (NELL) was honored to have Bill Younger as our guest speaker. NELL had special buttons made with Bill's image and the club logo. These buttons were given out at the event for donations earmarked for lighthouse preservation.

There were twenty-five buttons left over from the event and Bill graciously signed each one knowing the money will go for preservation.

Here are two pictures. The first of Bill signing the buttons and the second is a closeup of the button.

If you wish to make a donation of $5 and receive a button signed by Bill please let me know. The $5 includes shipping and handling. These will go on a first-come first-served basis and remember, YOU ARE DONATING FOR LIGHTHOUSE PRESERVATION.

Thanks,
Ron

...that's one heck of a great idea, Ron. I'll put up $10 for one of'em.

Thank you all for the emails, kind words, and requests to have a Bill button put aside for you.

There are only ten buttons left so please hurry and send me an email if you want one.

Someone asked where the nice picture of Bill came from. The picture is one which was taken of Bill with me and MJ in Portland, ME during a signing at the Country Noel. My son, Joe, cut Bill out of the picture (using Photoshop) and used it for the button design. Here is the original picture.

Thanks Again,

All of the Bill Buttons have been spoken for. Thank you all for donating to the NELL Preservation Fund. If, for some reason, one of the buttons becomes available I will certainly let you know. I do have some people on a "waiting List" just in case that happens.

A couple of generous donors donated more than the $5 donation and I thank you very much for your added generosity.

It is always nice to receive a gift for a donation but I did have one person donate to the preservation fund and not want a button.

I commend you all for your donations and for helping to KEEP THE FLAME for future generations.
