I just picked up my Old Field Point and though I would have liked the bare tree better, it is still a spectacular piece. Once again Harbor Lights have outdone themselves. A print of the lighthouse is also included on the 1999 calendar

Finally received Old Field Point. We must be on the end of the Pony Express route. I would like to add my own praise to those compliments already expressed. This piece is impressive in terms of size, heft, and detail. The stonework on the two buildings is very well done and the various colors used contribute to a very attractive piece.

I agree, the piece is impressive. I personally feel the tree change was an improvement even though not original. By the way, did you find the seahorse yet?

You guys are lucky. I've seen several Old Field as displays at various dealers. My dealer hasn't received a one yet. Maybe Massachusetts is a little behind the rest of the nation. Maybe the truck runs out of pieces before they get to the Bay State and has to back to California to get some more.

I received mine the Wednesday after getting back from the reunion. By the way it is already signed, Bill was in town last weekend.

First look I was kind of disappointed - too much snow covering up what could have been a lot of detail; no flag proclaiming it's OLD FIELD only Christmas 1998; the replacement evergreen tree is huge.
Then I looked very closely at the footprints in the snow, details of the buildings, and
found many things that will make this an enjoyable piece

The fact that HL has never included the name
of the Christmas piece on the flag has always
disappointed me.
Anyone know the "why" of it?
