I've attended this event the past three years, and the club is very friendly and cordial in welcoming non-members for their Harbour Lights Event.

Bob, make sure you get Geri home early. She's flying down here on the 6th. Sorry I can't be there with you both. JoanieO

BY was here, and mentioned something interesting about the 'golden childs' at the regionals. He said, "3 would be won only by those attending and 2 would be won by a drawing of people who could not attend." He also had a 'golden Hannibal LH Tower' which was pretty cool. It was only the LH part, no building. Hannibal will be raffled at dealer signings. - Bob

I had to check with "the boss" on Bill's statements because that wasn't what I understood about things. So direct from Kim: Up to 2 of the Tompkins golds are available to be won by non-attendees of the regional event, if their vouchers are drawn. All vouchers are going in one box. Not 2 separate boxes.
Hannibal will NOT be raffled but will be used in a drawing at the dealer signings featuring Bill or Nancy. The drawing is for persons purchasing pieces, not just in off the street to see what’s going on.
Dad was either mistaken, misunderstood, or misquoted.

Thanks for the official Home Office policy statement, John. That certainly clears up the 3"m's"! mistaken, misunderstood, or misquoted Mea Culpa - Bob
