Sue and I traveled South to Louisville and joined the Derby City Lights Club at their February meeting...




Sue presented the Club's President, Charles Springer, with the Gold Mark Twain Tower that the club won when they entered the Hoosier Lighthousing Club's drawing to raise funds for the spiral staircase project at the Old Michigan City Lighthouse.

Sue originally won the lighthouse at a Bill Younger store event and then donated it to the Hoosier Lighthousing Club to use to raise money. Sue and I thought it would be great to present it in person rather than ship it down....and, probably safer to hand delivery it!




They passed around the gold tower so that all of the club members had a chance to hold it and inspect it thoroughly!!




The club then proceeded on with the rest of their meeting including discussing plans on how to use the gold tower to raise money for their lighthouse project this year..
