This past weekend the 2002 Annual Meeting of the American Lighthouse Foundation was held in Westport, MA and Warren, RI. Saturday we boarded the Vista Jubilee out of Warren for a seaside tour of area lighthouses. Kim Andrews of Harbour Lights was the featured speaker at the Annual Meeting. Almost hidden in one of those photos was an overside check for $32,500.

That was from Harbour Lights to the ALF on behalf of Rockland Breakwater light -- the income generated from the $5 each donation for the full run of 6,500 pieces (not all sold yet, but HL paid off early.)

Thanks John for noticing the check. I guess it is okay to let the cat out of the bag about the check as Tim presented it to the Rockland Group on Monday evening. Yes, he was thoroughly surprised when Kim presented him with that check. You could say he was floored. He still can't figure out how she got it into the room without him seeing it.
