Greetings Lighthouse Lovers,
Living in Southern California, (San Diego/Los Angles /Inland Empire) we have talked to several collectors in the area and have found a real need to bring together the local Harbour Lights Collectors and Lighthouse enthusiasts. So with that in mind, we are now forming the Southern California Harbour Lights Collectors Club.
This club is being formed to give collectors in the area an opportunity to meet and share ideas with others of similar interests as well as keep up with the latest Harbour Lights news and events. We will provide an educational forum for guest speakers to share nformation about Harbour Lights and lighthouse histories. We will help in the preservation efforts and restoration of light stations and their traditions.
Our first kick-off meeting will be held February 27th starting at 2:00pm at the home of Dave Dutcher in Lake Forest. We are excited and proud to have Bill Younger as our kick-off guest speaker. For those who have had the privilege to meet and speak with Mr. Younger, his wisdom and witticism never ends! For those who haven't, please plan to attend! We also have big plans for lots of lighthouse collectors' stories, friends, food and fun! There will even be raffles and some free door prizes along with your chance to win a HL Limited Edition Lighthouse.
Become one of the family, come join in the fun, meet new friends, share lighthouse stories and help to preserve the heritage of our treasured aids to navigation by becoming a charter member.
