Real nice to see Egmont close up. I wasn't able to get closer than the shoreline to it or Ancolte Key when I was down there. Hopefully if I go back to visit my friends down in the Tampa area, we'll get out on a boat to get closer look at both Lights. I just hope that the state of Florida follows through with its plan to repair Ancolte.

Egmont Key is a very interesting place to visit especially if one of the docets is there to walk you around and tell you about the military activity that was there at one time. I never expected to see brick streets, sidewalks, and building foundations that remain. Interesting day trip and not too expensive. Will be glad to share the name of the marina with you, if you like.

Certainly enjoyed your photos. As my wife and I will be in FL in Dec. would like info with details as to how to get there. As a photographer of lighthouses for 30 years I'm always looking for new ones. Would appreciate any help you can give and maybe others would also. Thanks
