Jim: That is sure a nice photo of the meeting site for your Wis. HL regional on July 16.. Could you tell us the name of the building and its address and town please.

Do we have to register with you ahead of time, send in a fee, etc.? Is it limited to a certain attendance number like the big HL national convention? If so, I want to make sure I get my registration in with you right away. Milwaukee is my hometown, and I was going there anyway this summer, but have backed up my trip so that I can attend your regional.

I am sure we will all have a great time. There are some nice lighthouses to see in the area: Wind Point in Racine; a light down in Kenosha; and one right along Lake Michigan in Lake Park in Milwaukee; not to mention all the lights up in Door County.

HL collectors will have a good time in Milwaukee, as there is so much to see besides the lighthouses. Like a display of historic, colorful circus wagons the day before on July 15 down along the Lake front, in readiness for the big Circus Parade the next day. And the famous 3-Domed Conservatory at Mitchell Park. The Milwaukee Zoo is second only to the one in San Diego; and the public museum is rated #1 in the US because of its unique way of setting up displays: like walking through the redwoods; looking out from an igloo to see arctic landscape; or walking down the cobblestoned streets of Old Milwaukee. So plan on some extra time to see this area. Wisconsin and Milwaukee, unfortunately, are the least publicized tourist areas in the U.S.

Don't miss this regional and all else offered in Wis. It will be a grand time. I have talked to Jim and know how hard he has been working on this event.
