The Hoosier Lighthousing Club is having a fund raiser quilt raffle and you can start purchasing tickets now. Don't wait too long the drawing will be held at the Door County Regional in August.
The quilt will be made by the "Quilting Kat" and the winner will be able to make color selections, and block pattern suggestions as well as pick up to 20 of the nearly 100 lighthouse patterns that are available. The winner will even be able to select the size of the quilt, up to a maximum of a queen. The quilt is valued at approximately $800.00. But all the cost for making the quilt has been donated so all the ticket sales goes to support HL club projects.
The tickets are 1 for $5.00 or 5 for $20.00, but, if you are a member of the Hoosier Lighthousing Club you will get 6 tickets for every $20.00 purchase instead of 5. So please join our club and then purchase your raffle ticket to help support all the wonderful projects our club works on.
And remember all the proceeds from this raffle go to the support of lighthouses. Just go to www.HLclub.org for all the details and the opportunity to purchase tickets via paypal or print of a snail mail form and send it in with your money.
And don't forget to join the HL club if you want the free ticket for every $20.00 worth of purchases.

Thank You For Your Support

I AM IN FOR THIS QUILT! 12 tickets paid via PayPal.

Kat, saw the beautiful quilt you made for the reunion, and was so sad that I didn't win it. Maybe I'll have better luck this time. laugh

A note to anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to see one of Kat's quilts: They are beautiful! She really puts her heart into them! The winner of this quilt will really be getting a GREAT PRIZE.

My donation is in the pot.

Thanks Kat!

KAT,

I've seen one of your quilts and it was stunning. After Income Tax time I intend to send a check -- if I have any money left. confused

Just a quick update for those of you who purchased tickets via PayPal....they are in the mail. All the members of the Hoosier Lighthousing Club wish everyone who purchases tickets the best of luck.
I can't wait to do this quilt, I just purchased another 20 embroidered lighthouse images. They include the west coast lighthouses like Umpqua River, Yaquina Head, Gray's Harbor, Point Arena, Haceta Head, Coquille River, Santa Cruz Breakwater, Cape Blanco, Mukilteo, and Cape Mears. This list is not all inclusive. I now have well over 100 lighthouse images I can embroider, so, the winner should not have any problem finding 12 he/she loves to put onto their quilt. And don't forget, I can use any photos and print them off onto fabric so your own photos can be used in the making of your quilt.
But, you have to buy the raffle tickets to win. So don't delay, get yours today at the www.HLClub.org website.
Thank You Thank You Thank You to all those who bought their raffle tickets already!!! towel
