Question: What is better than a Harbour Lights Club on the face of the Earth?

Answer: Two Harbour Lights Clubs!

The Great Lakes Harbour Lights Club and the Hoosier Lighthousing Club have joined together to bring you…..

A Very Special Opportunity Drawing

The prize is a mint Harbour Lights New Point Loma Lighthouse, that was donated to both clubs to raise money for their respective lighthouse projects (Pottawatomie and Old Michigan City Lighthouses) by Forum Cruise Director Mark Wagner, a member of both clubs. The lighthouse is #365 and pictured below.

$1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00

Send either a check or cash to me (Paul L Brady) by November 15th …

Paul L Brady
6723 Balmoral Rd
Indianapolis, IN 46241-1744

Include your e-mail address with your payment, as that is how I will inform you of your ticket numbers. In addition, Jim Johnston is selling tickets through a mailing to the Great Lakes Harbour Lights Club and the Hoosier Lighthousing Club will be selling the opportunity tickets at their November 10th meeting.

The TV Anchorman, Mike Ahern, at WISH TV8 where I work, will draw the winning ticket at the end of November.

Neither Jim Johnston, the Wagner family nor I will have tickets in the drawing. Good luck to all and thank you for supporting these Lighthousing efforts!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Paul L Brady

Digger has done a 16 X 20 framed pen and pencil drawing of Old Mac, which we will be selling opportunity tickets for at the meeting on Saturday.

Digger has kindly donated his talents once again to help raise money for our Old Michigan City Christmas lights project. I know I will be buying some chances for the drawing... Great job once again, Digger.

Do you have to be present to win it?

I can't sell the tickets over the Internet... there just isn't enough time but if you want to contact a member to purchase tickets for you and be your representative at the drawing I don't have a problem with that. You will need to pay for the shipping if you win it. Just have them write your name on the ticket stubs when they purchase them.

And of course you will need to pay them back the money for the tickets they purchase for you!

Paul

Hey Paul, ...I mailed a check to a fellow connected-collector who very generously offered to purchase tickets on behalf of "Lucky Lorna" & I. I neglected to ask him to put my email address on the ticket so if a ticket is drawn with my wife's name on it, you'll know who to contact.

After winning the Gold Cape St. George at the NE Regional, she's still on a roll! I ask her each day, "Do you feel lucky?", and she always answers, "YES!!!".

Fingers crossed on the East Coast...

Bob

When are the drawings for the New Point Loma & Digger's picture? Are they at the meeting tomorrow? Paul stated that he needed a check by the 15th but the meeting is the 10th. I'm confused, would like to send checks to both clubs but don't know if it is too late.

Donna, you can mail a check to Paul for the new Point Loma drawing up to the 15th, that drawing's proceeds will be split to both clubs.
The drawing for the painting will be tommorow.

Congrats to Carolyn and Roy on winning that beautiful drawing! We wished we could have made the meeting, but we are stuck down here in The Smokies - up in the mountains in one very nice chalet!

I'm speechless!

Thank you to everyone involved! It is great that these funds were raised for both the Old Michigan City and Pottawatomie lights. As a member of the HLCC-GLD it is great to see these lights getting the attention they deserve.

Thanks Again! WOW!

-Todd
