The April 5 meeting is in Uniondale in the Nassau Coliseum area of Mitchell Field. To get to the meeting, get off the Meadowbrook at M-4 exit - Charles Lindbergh Blvd. Drive west until you see the sign on your left reading Mitchel Athletic Complex. Turn left here, go to the end and parking is on the left side.

A map can be viewed at http://www.longislandlighthouses.com/uslhs/events.htm

Hope to see you there!

Ron!!! Yikes! Did you get a signed release to post this photo?...because I don't remember signing one. Models make money for posing in pictures you know. LOL!

Ron,

Great photos. Wish I could have been there for the meeting.

It would have been great to finally meet some of those Wackos and talk to Wayne Wheeler and Shirin Weiss again.

I met her last month at the NJLHS Meeting and tried to talk her into volunteering at both Sandy Hook and Lighthouse Challenge 2001. She said she'd have to think about it.

There's just one question I have left-does the Sister Island come with Sue's autograph?

Dennis,

Looks like you did a good job of trying to convince me. I went last week to the volunteer training at Sandy Hook and I've already signed up to help at the Lighthouse Challenge weekend! I just couldn't resist the call for volunteers.

LOL Kristin... have you found an attorney yet? Ron... thanks for sharing your photos with us. I really enjoyed them and always look forward to hearing what's happening at the various clubs, etc. Shirin... congrats on your first post. Looks like Ron chose a photo where you were not sleeping.

Tim,

Thanks for pointing out that I was sleeping in that pic of Ron's. Perhaps I need to talk to Kristin's attorney as well!

Shirin,

Great! Glad you're aboard. I hope we can work together at the Hook sometime.

I just started a new job and i work on Saturdays, so I'll only be at the Lighthouse on some Sundays this year.

One of the Wackos on the Forums will be at Sandy Hook on the 21st. I'll be there on the 22nd. Now maybe she'll have someone from the list to meet as well as seeing a great Lighthouse.

Welcome Shirin! Good to see I'm not "the last one" to get involved with this Forum. I was going to challenge you to a race to see who gets to wacko status first, but since you were caught "sleeping" in that one picture, I didn't want to be taking advantage. LOL! No, I'm just kidding. My eyes were all over the place in some (if not all) of those photos too!

Dave and Stephen,
Your Harbour Lights were mailed yesterday.
Sorry Dave, I thought about mailing SI to Sue for an autograph but it was just too much in to little time. You'll have to bring it to the Reunion!

Bob,

No problem. I was just thinking it would be the icing on the cake. I'm happy to accept it just as it is.

I've got a spot cleared in my Cabinet for it.

Dennis
