While we were up on Rock Island last week, Paul(a college student who works summers on the island) mentioned the idea of getting an 1858 flag to fly on the newly redone flag pole at the lighthouse. What a great idea. FORI found a store in Green Bay that sells them.
The flag was ordered and should be flying up at the lighthouse next week.
By the way, an 1858 flag has 31 stars on it.
