We just returned from a week exploring the Chesapeake Bay area and the DelMarva Peninsula (where I grew up). We stayed at the "Chesapeake Bay Bed & Breakfast" located near Annapolis, Md. It is a very exact replica of Thomas Point, MD light and commands a view of that light. The B&B is closing due to zoning problems and the working lighthouse and house are for sale. If you can swing the asking price of $1.9M, this is a great spot. It is a beautiful location and would like a lighthouse lover to buy it...This is a working Private Aid to Navigation that is on all the current charts. The telephone # is (410) 757-0248. They have a web page that you can find through the lighthouse Virtual Library or a search engine. George

Sounds like a great place for the "Harbour Lights Anonymous National Treatment Center". BY could buy it and time share our "treatment" sessions with other society members. Maybe insurance could even cover the treatment session's cost! Nurse Ratchet could pass out our daily dose of thumbnails, as we relax and watch episodes of the lighthouse documentaries while listening to the soothing sounds of the Harbour Lights cassette. Heck, Tim could even sound off the daily fog horn signifying our 1 Hr session of playing on the Forums.

"It is a very exact replica of Thomas Point, MD light"

Does this mean that the "privy" is located on the walkway outside the residence and there is a winch and rigging with a boat hanging ready for launch? No wonder they are having zoning problems.

I'm all for Bill buying it for recovering collectors, but there should be indoor bathrooms for $1.9 million.
