 Good news for Bodie Island light

I was looking at the WRAL/Cape Hatteras page to see what the latest news was and came across a story about the Bodie Island lighthouse and that the Coast Guard is handing the lighthouse over to the National Park service (the Coast Guard will still maintain the light it's self) and with some renovations it will be open to climb in a few years. Thanks, Mark. We were there this summer and the NPS people said they were working on turnover of the property. Too bad we still have the 3-5 year wait, but hopefully the NPS will get working soon. I'm sure theat Dennis is going to put some of this work on the back burner for a while.
