Does anyone know?

Would be grateful for some ideas!!! PLEASE ... smile

Is it a real LH? The lantern room would be a dead give-away, I would think. It is very unique with the porthole style windows that would be more in line with a range light set up.

you are so right Dave ... that lantern room is a bit unique.

Well its cataloged as a real lighthouse. But ...

We would be very grateful for anyone's ideas. I went through all the St. Thomas and Prince Lighthouses Russ has on his Lighthouse Directory, but can't find anything that looks or is described like this one.

Sometimes the countries use lighthouses that are not in their country. As a new collector of lighthouse stamps I am learning about these kinds of things. Also some of the stamps are not legitimate. My lighthouse stamp expert who spoke at our lighthouse club meeting recently warned me about the ones from this country! It is an interesting lighthouse though if it is a real one.

Yes Judy, there are lots of countries who issue stamps with lighthouses from other countries. And there are lots of unauthorized issues.

We collect them just the same. It is interesting to see some countries with no coast lines issuing large numbers of lighthouse stamps.
Often you can find the pictures they use quite easily on the Internet. And of course they did not ask permission to use them.

Saying that, we too thought this lighthouse interesting. And we'd love to find out where it is, what its called etc.

I'll be on the look out for it because it really is unique.
