Reporting to you from Heceta.... last Tuesday, Feb. 3, the lampist was called in to check out the lens at Heceta Head. The creaking noise had been getting worse. Two bearings in the chariots wheels crumbled in his hands. So until new bearing can be machined, Heceta Head is dark.

Not good news about the lens!
